Tatra Jewelry Gallery Starý Smokovec

The Tatra Jewelry Gallery is a jewelry gallery that sells and presents local work. The products come exclusively from artists and craftsmen from the High Tatras. They are inspired by landscape, mountains, fauna and flora. We offer paintings, ceramics, forged products, hand-painted scarves, books from the I&B publishing house about the High Tatras, and many other gifts and original souvenirs. Jewelry is made  by hand, using old goldsmith’s techniques directly in the gallery, in a small atelier. It is interesting for visitors and customers who can look into the production process and get to know their jewelry perfectly with its  origin. It is made of silver, gold, copper and brass in combination with the technique of real jewelry enamel or setting stones, which creates unique originals, suitable for pleasure and as a gift for more significant events.

The gallery also organizes various painting symposia, creative workshops for young and old, but also lectures from which a 12-part series entitled “Jewelry and Personalities” is currently underway. All the exhibited objects are linked with the High Tatras and therefore you should definitely not miss this inconspicuous gallery!
