Kmeťov waterfall falls into valley Nefcerská dolina in Kôprová dolina already in the forest environment. It is created by the creek Nefcerský potok. It is approximately 80 m high and is the highest waterfall in the High Tatras. It bears the name of the well-known Slovak nationalist, botanist and co-founder of the Slovak National Museum in Martin Andrej Kmeť (1841-1908). The author of the title is Miloš Janoška in the First Slovak Guide to the Tatras (Prvý slovenský sprievodca po Tatrách 1911). The waterfall can be reached by Kôprová dolina either from Podbanské along the yellow , green and blue trails or from Tri Studničky along the red and blue trails.
